City of Richland to Stop Curbside Yard Waste Pickups Next Week

RICHLAND, WA - The City of Richland will stop their curbside green can yard waste collection for the season next week and enhanced collection will begin after that.

Monday, October 26, through Friday, October 30 will be the last yard waste pickup from the green cans until March.

Please make sure your green container is by the curbside by 7 a.m. on your regular scheduled garbage day. 

Beginning November 2nd, curbside pickup of excess bagged, bundled or small items 2'x4' max (that does not fit into your gray garbage can) will be collected every week in November and December but you must schedule this free pickup. 

To schedule a pickup, it is preferred you complete the trackable, online form.

You can also call and leave your name, address and number of bags/items you have for pickup to 942-7387.

Material will be picked up on the day of your next scheduled garbage day.

No tires, large appliances, paints, chemicals, hazardous waste, construction debris, furniture or bulky items larger than 2' x 4' or weighing more than 50 pounds will be accepted.
