Thieves Steal Halloween Decorations from Pasco Home

Posted: Updated:

PASCO, WA- For a home in the Montgomery Estates off of Road 100 in Pasco they were not happy to see a part of their Halloween display missing earlier this week. They were putting up more decorations when they noticed Burt Lovejoy's homemade skeleton was missing from their front yard.

Burt and his wife Rachel took to social media to find their missing decoration and when we met up with him today he was not happy to have such an important part of his lawn display missing. He told us, "upset, mad, it's not something I can go down to the store and buy a replacement for, it's something that I made so there's a lot of hours and time and money into that decoration, so it really bothered me a lot more than something you can just replace easily".

Lovejoy told me earlier that it takes him and his wife about a month to get their yard completely set up for Halloween night. They're the parents to two little girls but say they will still be celebrating Halloween like they do every year. They just hope to get their skeleton back in time.

Their home is well known throughout the Tri-Cities and they welcome you to stop by on Halloween to see if you can make it through the scary decorations and to their front door for a candy reward.
