SEATTLE (AP) - Seattle police say the parents of a 2-month old girl have turned her over to authorities in Kittitas County. Police on Thursday afternoon asked for the public's help in finding the baby when her parents failed to turn her over to state protective custody on Wednesday. Police said the parents, Patrick Curran and Inger Surowiecki, were not arrested but that police continue to investigate. A spokeswoman with the Department of Social and Health Services said the parents were supposed to be in court with the baby Wednesday but didn't show. She declined to comment on specifics of the case. Police say Surowiecki is wanted on felony and misdemeanor warrants.
