Tiny House Open House in Pasco

Posted: Updated:

PASCO, WA- Friday night Sarah Kinsey held an open house for her own tiny house. It took her seven months to create her new home.

She has had a Facebook page dedicated to her project and invited the community to stop by and have a look tonight. Community members were excited to see all of her hard work come together.

Kinsey told us over the seven months she had quite a few obstacles. A major obstacle, being diagnosed with cancer. Kinsey told us she will now be able to use the money she saves in mortgage payments for her medical bills that are approximately $800 a month. The project kept her spirits up through her difficult seven months of work.

At the open house, Kinsey said "it feels good it feels good to just breath, and just enjoy it, that's what I've been looking forward to is just enjoying it".

If you want to stop by and see the tiny house for yourself, it is located at 9204 Merrick Avenue. Take Court Street in Pasco and turn onto Road 92 towards the river.
