One Killed, Four Injured in Crash at Intersection of SR 397 and Bowles Road

BENTON COUNTY, WA- Washington State Patrol said a two car accident just before midnight on Friday at State Route 397 left one dead and four others injured. 

Troopers said a 1999 Red Buick Regal was Westbound Bowles Road at State Route 397, just four miles south of Kennewick, when the driver of the car 34-year-old Ty Moore, did not stop at a stop sign and collided with a black Toyota Camry at the intersection.  

34-year-old Fawn White, a passenger in the Buick died at the scene and the others in the vehicle were taken to local hospitals.  Troopers reported four people were injured, including a 3-year-old.

The driver of the Toyota was taken to a local hospital as well. 

The accident is still under investigation and troopers do believe alcohol or drugs may have been involved.
