KENNEWICK, WA- Saturday, diners at Red Robin in Kennewick could "Tip a Cop" to help out the Washington Special Olympics.

The tips started Saturday morning at 11 a.m.  Officers and Special Olympics Ambassadors went around to different tables to help out talk a little bit about the fundraiser.  Along with Kennewick Police, Miss Tri-Cities helped out too.

Anthony Hash, who is a Special Olympic Athlete and Ambassador said doing events like this helps the Special Olympics out a lot.

"We go out, we go out of town to Seattle, and we go to a hotel, we do dances, and we have our events.  A lot of people feel that pride of wanting to donate because they know they're giving it to a good cause," said Hash.

The event ended at 8 p.m.
