KENNEWICK, WA -- A 3-week shutdown of one of the City of Kennewick’s water reservoirs commenced this week for scheduled maintenance. The water supply to Kennewick customers will be continuous and uninterrupted while crews perform thorough maintenance and inspection of the affected reservoir.

Previous trial shutdown periods have been successful in determining best practices for providing continued, safe water service when the reservoir is offline.

Residents who receive City water in the shaded area on the attached map may see fluctuations in their water pressure during this maintenance period. If Kennewick customers experience pressure fluctuations they are encouraged to call the City of Kennewick’s Public Works Department at 585-4419.
