WASHINGTON STATE- Starting November 1st, over a million natural gas customers in Washington state will be paying less for their services because of a decrease in wholesale natural gas costs.

The Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission approved rate decreased for Puget Sound Energy, Avista Utilities and Northwest Natural Gas on Thursday. 

The average bill for an Avista customer in Eastern Washington using 68 therms will fall by 14.9 percent or around $10.17 a month. 

On September 1st, the commission approved a decrease for Cascade Natural Gas by 13.8 percent, lowering the average household bill by $7.26.
