KENNEWICK, WA - If you're a wine tasting pro or even just a beginner, the oldest wine competition in the Northwest is coming up soon.

The 37th annual Tri-Cities Wine Festival is Saturday, November 14th at the Three Rivers Convention Center in Kennewick.

Organizers from the Tri-Cities Wine Society say it's a perfect opportunity to taste some of the best wine varieties in the industry.

"For example the first year there were 13 wineries, most from Washington and 1 from Idaho and a couple from Oregon. And this year we have 82 wineries represented and over 425 wines," says Mary Binder, Tri-Cities Wine Society.

Right now judges from all over the U.S. and Canada are already in town tasting all the wines.

The results will be announced at the public gala tasting Saturday, November 14th.

There will also be food, beer and a silent auction.

The cost is $55 per person in advance and $60 at the door. You must be 21 or older to attend.
