BENTON CITY, WA- A three car accident on Interstate 82 Saturday afternoon sent one car rolling down a 110 foot embankment.

41-year-old Andrea Miller of Rathdrum, Idaho hit 65-year-old Caryl Briggs of Yakima which lead to a chain reaction crash. Briggs then, hit the car in front of her. The first car, driven by 64-year-old David Briggs, was traveling slower because Caryl Briggs was following him.

Troopers say the accident happened in the westbound lanes of I-82 about four miles west of Benton City at 12:55 p.m. Miller's car rolled twice during the accident and came to a rest on its wheels down the embankment. Miller and two of her passengers were taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center. A 2-year-old in Miller's car was not hurt during the crash.
