Parades & Events Happening on Veterans Day

WASHINGTON - List of some of the events and parades taking place on Veterans Day, Wednesday Nov. 11, 2015:

- Veterans Memorial Observance: Regional Veterans Memorial - east end of Columbia Park in Kennewick, starts at 11 a.m.

- Pasco American Legion Post 34 is presenting a Veterans Day program at 11 a.m. at the flagpoles at Columbia Memorial Gardens.

- Naval Air Station Pasco 1942-1945 Exhibit Opening, 2 p.m. at The REACH in Richland.

- Walla Walla Veterans Day Parade along Main street, starts at 11 a.m.

- Prosser’s 11th annual Thank You Vets Parade, starts at 11 a.m. at Keene Riverview School and follows the States' Day route. A Thank-You breakfast for Veterans & their families is from 7:30-9:30 a.m. at the Walter Clore Center.

- American Legion Post 34 Veterans Day program at Columbia Memorial Gardens in Pasco, starts at 11 a.m.

- Hermiston Veterans Day breakfast at the Hermiston Conference Center, starts at 8 a.m. RSVP: 541-567-6151

- Yakima Veterans Day Parade, starts at 10:45 a.m. at the intersection of Yakima Ave. & 6th St. and ends at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 379 Building.

- Yakima’s McAllister Museum of Aviation is hosting a Veterans Day open house from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

- American Legion Post 73 in Sunnyside is hosting a Veterans Day Program at the Jerry Taylor Veterans Plaza, starts at 11 a.m.
