Second Annual Give a Gift Get a Smile Toy Drive

Tri-Cities, WA - With the holidays right around the corner you might be looking for ways to give back this season. A family in the Tri-Cities could use your help to keep the Christmas spirit alive for kids in need.

Natausha Burris and her family are collecting toys for the second year in a row to give to local foster kids in the Tri-Cities this Christmas. Burris says that there are around 350 kids in foster care this year from infants up to 18 years old and their goal is to have at least three gifts for each kid. 

"It's important because they don't have a lot, they can be taken out of a situation with a lot of poverty or just a bad situation and to come into care and it's Christmas time and they're scared and they don't know what home they're in and they don't know the people a gift is really comforting for them," Natausha Burris, Give a Gift Get a Smile.
