Stolen Halloween Decoration Returns Back Home

Posted: Updated:

PASCO, WA- A few weeks before Halloween, the Lovejoy family had one of their decorations stolen from their front yard. This decoration happened to be a skeleton Burt Lovejoy made himself.

Thursday night, Pasco Police got a phone call from duck hunters hunting  off of Road 100 and said they had found a dead body. Sergeant Scott Warren told us, "our officers started to roll out there, on the assumption that they had found a dead body they had started to reach out to the detective's unit to get them prepared". When the police showed up and got close to the figure they realized it was not real.

Later that night, police were able to return it to the Lovejoys. The skeleton still has all limbs, is a little worn from being in a pond for a couple weeks and has a new Chiawana High School t-shirt.
