PASCO, WA- The Tri-Cities' first Hemp and Health Expo was held Saturday at the TRAC Center in Pasco to inform people about cannabis-related topics.

The event promoted alternative medicines and holistic health and featured cannabis businesses.  People interested walked to each vendor to ask questions and found out more information on cannabis-related topics.

One business said this event is similar to an open discussion about marijuana use and growth here in Washington.

"We wanted to kind of have an event where people started talking.  We just wanted to have a conversation about people supporting this.  We are everyday people," said Bobbie Jo Floyd, Owner of Anything Grows in Richland.

People who walked by the Anything Grows both learned about different techniques and tools to help grow plants.

Along with vendors, seminars featured talks such as, "The Benefits of Medical Cannabis" and other testimonies.
