KENNEWICK, WA- The Tri-Cities Chapter of ABATE of Washington dropped of hundreds of coats.

Saturday the ABATE of Washington Tri-Cities Chapter rode in on 40 motorcycles with 60 people to our KNDU news studio to drop off several hundred coats for our Coats for Kids Drive.  The organization collected coats at various motorcycle shops and brought them all here.  ABATE said they saw a need and wanted to help.

"We as a motorcycle community, whether it's us or another club are all about what we can deliver back to the community and what we can help with.  We find a need in the winter for kids to have enough coats," said Kat Bolton, with ABATE.

The drop off locations that helped ABATE were Columbia River Cycle, JMC Motor Sports, Thunder Alley, Renegade Classics, and Rattlesnake Mountain Harley Davidson.

ABATE does this every year and along with them, the Bandidos Motorcycle Club helped out Saturday as well.
