Tyson Foods, Inc., announced it's recalling 52,486 pounds of chicken wing product that may be adulterated.

The recall involves "Tyson Any'tizers Fully Cooked Hot Wings" sold in 28-ounce retail bags.

Tyson said it received consumer complaints that the product had an "off" odor and mild illnesses associated with consumption were also reported.

Each 28-ounce bag affected in the recall has the code P-13456 above the heating instructions on the back of the bag. They also have date codes including 2975PBF05 or 2985PBF05, as well as "Best if Used By" dates of Oct. 24, 2016 or Oct. 25, 2016.

Consumers should throw away uneaten wings or return them to the place of purchase for a refund.
