WSP Releases Information on October Accident that Lead to the Death of Wapato Woman

YAKIMA COUNTY, WA - The Washington State Patrol released new information Wednesday morning about a two car accident that led to the death of a 73-year-old Wapato woman.

Troopers say back on October 11th, 2015 Gisele Sarvis, 73 was driving northbound on Ashue Road about five miles outside of Wapato. They say she did not stop at the stop sign and crashed into Israel Maceda Angon, 30 of Toppenish driving eastbound on Progressive Road at the intersection of Ashue Road.

He had two kids ages three and four in the car with him. The three were hurt and taken to Yakima Memorial Hospital.

Meanwhile, medics took Sarvis to Harborview Medical Center where she died on November 10th.
