Fire Engulfs East Pasco Mobile Home, Sends Two to Hospital

PASCO, WA- Pasco fire was dispatched to a home on the 400 Block of North Elm Avenue at 8:42 p.m. on Sunday.

Fire crews arrived to find the mobile home completely engulfed by flames, two people were inside when it caught on fire. "They were going into a defensive attack, crews were successful in putting the fire out, we had units here from Kennewick, Franklin County Fire District 3 and City of Pasco. About 20 firefighters in total," explained Dave Hare, Pasco Fire Battalion Chief.

Witnesses tell NBC Right Now they heard an explosion inside the home but investigators have not been able to confirm that information.  Hare said it could be some time before his crews are able to go into the home and investigate what started the fire.
