One Year Later, Family and Friends Remember Man Stabbed Inside Kennewick Biomat

Posted: Updated:

RICHLAND, WA. -- One year ago Tuesday, 40-year-old Matthew Devore stabbed his ex-wife's fiance, 45-year-old Thomas Christian, in the Biomat plasma donation center in Kennewick, and then calmly walked out.

Tuesday morning, a small group of Christian's family and friends held a moment of silence for him. Christian's fiance, Brenda Losey, was inside Biomat with Christian, when Devore confronted the couple.

She says she'll never forget looking at the bloody knife in Devore's hand. But Tuesday was about remembering Christian.

"Thomas, I love you. and I will love you forever, you are my forever," Losey said. "You're always in my heart and my soul. And baby, I'll see you soon. I'll see him in Heaven, thank God for that."

Devore still awaits trial for the murder. We're told it should begin in the next few months.
