Grant Co. Deputies Warn of Phone Scam

GRANT COUNTY, WA- The Grant County Sheriff's Office and Royal City Police are looking into some complaints about scammers calling, claiming to be from the Grant PUD.

Those victims says the caller demands money be sent or else their power will be shut off. Three churches happened to be Sunday's victims, none of which sent and money and called police instead.

If something like this happens to you, its always smart to ask for a call back number and report the incident to police.
