KENNEWICK, WA - The Kennewick Police Department responded to a report of a scam where a man was impersonating an employee of American Tree Services and was able to convince the victim to pay him for services he did not end up doing on her trees.  

Police identified the man as 25-year-old Chuck Baker after he cashed the check payment at a local bank.

The victim contacted the company after the man and the woman with him had left and confirmed they did not work for the company. 

Police describe Baker as 6'0", 250 lbs. with light brown hair. The woman with him is pregnant with dark colored hair. 

They are driving a white compact pickup truck with a white canopy.   

Baker is wanted by multiple law enforcement agencies in Texas and Wisconsin on charges of Forgery, Probation Violations and Fraud. He is wanted by Kennewick Police on Fraud charges. 

Should anyone see Baker, please contact KPD immediately and do not allow them into your home.

    RICHLAND- Detectives are investigating after a man was jumped Saturday afternoon on a Richland bike path. The 22-year-old said he was in the area of Bellerive Drive and Steptoe Street around 11 a.m. when it happened.
