NEAR POTHOLES RESERVOIR, WASHINGTON- Grant County Sheriff's deputies have found the body of 65-year-old Khampheng Soumphakdy of Connell.

Soumphakdy went missing back on November 2nd, 2015 and his small fishing boat was found floating on Long Lake two days later.

Deputies found his body floating in Long Lake on Saturday morning. The Grant County Coroner plans to verify the identity of the remains. Right now evidence points to drowning as the cause of death, after falling out of the boat.

"I know Mr. Soumphakdy's family has been struggling with his disappearance for over a month, and I hope and pray they find peace now that we believe his body has been found," said Grant County Sheriff Tom Jones. "I am very sorry for their loss."

WASHINGTON: It's barely pumpkin latte season and already signs are up advertising *flu* shots! One vaccine that's been off the market for a couple years is back this year. Two years ago the nasal spray vaccine was taken off the market because the Center for Disease Control said it was no longer effective for that particular flu season. For those who tend to get a little needle frantic, the CDC now says this year's nasal spray vaccine should be effective for this year's flu strain. I...More >>
