KENNEWICK, WA- Army Staff Sergeant Kelly Swentik is stationed in North Carolina. Swentik has been gone for two years, but thanks to facetime, he is not quite without his little boy Gabe and daughter Aubry.

However, that does not mean a surprise on Thursday was anything less since Aubry, who goes to Washington Elementary, received her Christmas gift a little early.

Her father, brother and father's fiance were led to her class mid-morning. "It's been a while since I've been in this school," Sergeant Swentik told the school's principal. He attended the elementary school from 1st to 4th grade.

Aubry Swentik told NBC Right Now she was sad after her Dad surprised in her in her classroom. We asked her why, "Because I miss him."

"Daddy!" she screamed as he entered the room, "I missed you." While cradling a rose Swentik brought her, Aubry's day at school ended quickly and her Dad signed her out for the day.

Now, Sergeant Swentik's family can be together for just a few short days during the holiday season.
