KENNEWICK, WA - Tri-Cities area teachers have a shot to win a bunch of books for your classroom.

The Children's Reading Foundation of the Mid-Columbia is inviting local elementary schools to celebrate Dr. Seuss's birthday. The Foundation is hosting a photo and video contest.

"send us photos, videos, we're looking for you know how they dress, how they celebrate Dr. Seuss's birthday, whether it's with green eggs and ham or doing a live reading, if you will," said local executive director Sara Schwan.

The winning classrooms will earn a 75-book library. There will be four of them; one each from the Kennewick, Richland, and Pasco School Districts and one out of the region's private schools.

Contest submissions are due by 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 2nd. Photos/videos should be sent to sara@read20minutes.com or posted on
