White Pass Ski Area partners with Children's Miracle Network for annual winter carnival

Posted: Updated:

WHITE PASS, WA.- The White Pass Winter Carnival is a staple here in the Yakima Valley and a great time for family and friends to hit the slopes, but it's also raising money for Children's Miracle Network.

Children's Miracle Network has partnered with the White Pass Ski Area for their winter carnival for the past 17 years.

The carnival helps to raise money and support local child health care right here in the Yakima Valley.

The best thing is, all the money donated stays local, going towards Memorial Hospital's child health care programs like Children's Village, Memorial's Neo-natal Intensive Care Unit, and Memorial's Pediatric Unit.

"We've helped over 5,000 kids, with special needs and therapy," CMN representative Sarah Morgan said, "It's just a huge program, so many children's lives have been touched by this program."

Over the past 17 years White Pass Ski Area has been able to donate more than $24,000 to the Children's Miracle Network.

If you'd like to show your support at the winter carnival this year you can check out the White Pass Ski Area website or send an email to lc@skiwhitepass.com.
