YAKIMA, WA- Yakima firefighters are investigating a fire they tell NBC Right Now was set intentionally.

Crews responded to the 400 Block of North 6th Avenue just before 8 p.m. Friday night to find flames coming from the basement of a boarded up and vacant home.

One neighbor told them the city had condemned the house just a few weeks ago. 16 firefighters put out the blaze that caused just over $5,000.00 in damage.

Thankfully, no one sustained any injuries.
