2 arrested in connection with Yakima robbery

UPDATE: Yakima police said Ricardo Manzo-Gutiérrez, wanted in connection with a robbery at a mini-mart and an attempted robbery at a second mini-mart, has been taken into custody.

He was arrested Tuesday afternoon at a Yakima home by the Pacific Northwest Violent Offenders task force.

He will face 1st degree robbery and attempted 1st degree robbery

YAKIMA, WA - Yakima Police have arrested a 15 year old girl and have identified an 18-year-old man in connection with a robbery and attempted robbery late Saturday night and early Sunday morning.

The 15 year old girl was arrested late Monday and has been booked into the Yakima County Juvenile Detention Facility. She faces a charge of 1st degree robbery and attempted 1st degree robbery in juvenile court.

The 18-year-old has been identified as Ricardo Manzo-Gutiérrez of Yakima.

The two are accused of robbing the Apple Bin Mini-Mart in the 3700 block of West Nob Hill Boulevard and of attempting to rob the Rocky Mart at the corner of 10th Avenue and Nob Hill Boulevard late Saturday night and early Sunday morning.
