Bigfoot 'experiencers' coming together for weekend conference in Kennewick

Posted: Updated:

KENNEWICK, WA - There are thousands of reports of Bigfoot sightings around the world. The first weekend of March, a handful of 'experiencers' will be in Kennewick. They'll be sharing their stories of close encounters at the second annual International Conference on Primal People.

Thom Cantrall, a former forester, is one of those speakers who claims he's had a few encounters. He's even written some books on the subject.

Cantrall said Bob Gimlin, one of the men involved with the infamous Patterson-Gimlin Sasquatch film from the 60's, is going to be one of the speakers, as well. Bob actually lives in the Yakima area.

"He'll be there. He'll tell the story and shake hands and talk to people, have a ball. That's what it's all about, just sharing information and having fun. I guarantee we will do both," said Cantrall.

The conference is scheduled for three days; March 3rd, 4th and 5th. It will be at the Grange Hall on S. Union Street in Kennewick. Admission for all three days is just $30. You can pay at the door or register here online
