Runners honor the life of Ben Tucker

Posted: Updated:

KENNEWICK, WA.-- Friday, friends, family, and former teammates gathered at horse heaven hills park today in Kennewick for a run in honor of Benjamin Tucker, a student at Southridge High School. The runners had nothing but kind things to say about Ben, who was a member of the cross country and track teams, as well as a musician and honors student. The Sam Smith, the event's organizer tells us how special Ben was to the community.

"He's just a talented, happy, athletic, musical boy," Sam told KNDU, "I've known Ben since he was a young boy I'm a neighbor. I've loved seeing him around the neighborhood. He's a happy boy, fun to tease with, and a real joy to have in the neighborhood."
