Alternate ways to trick-or-treat this Halloween

Posted: Updated:

KENNEWICK, WA.-- Halloween is a spooky holiday, but it can be especially scary for parents trying to keep their kids safe while they're out trick-or-treating. That's why, on Sunday night, nearly 400 people attended Petsmart's "Trunk-or-Treat" event.

During Trunk-or-Treat, Petsmart approved candy-givers lined the parking lot, some of them with their candy in the trunks of their cars, while families stopped at each one to collect their Halloween goodies.

Kids were able to have a good time, while parents were able to enjoy a Halloween with no tricks, only treats.

If you're looking for an alternate form of trick-or-treating, here are some of the events going on around the area.

- 3:00-5:00 PM Halloween Trick or Treat Bash, Downtown Kennewick

- 4:00-7:00 PM Kennewick Eagles Trunk or Treat, 115 N Fruitland St, Kennewick

- 4:00-6:00 PM Downtown Trick or Treat, Benton City

- 3:00-5:00 PM Uptown Trick-or-Treat + Enzo's Very Scary Halloween Party, 1391 George Washington Way, Richland
