YAKIMA COUNTY, WA- On December 3, 2016 at about 10:30 at night, the Yakima County Sheriff’s Office received a call in reference to a 20 year old male victim who walked into the Toppenish Regional ER with multiple gunshots. The male was treated for the wounds and was stable. He was later transported to Harborview Hospital in Seattle for further treatment.

Prior to being treated, the male provided the responding Deputy with brief information about what had happened to him.

An investigation showed that the information provided by the victim was not accurate. It is still unclear where the incident actually occurred.

At this time the victim will need to be interviewed further once he has recovered.

The Yakima County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information related to this incident please call 509-574-2500.
