YAKIMA, WA - One car is destroyed after a fire in the parking garage on the 300 Block of East Yakima Avenue. It happened around 2:30 Tuesday afternoon.

When firefighters got on scene they found a sedan on the second level of the garage on fire. A sprinkler was activated and helped confine the fire so there was no more damage.

The Yakima Fire Department says it was accidental and that the driver reported hearing a pop and seeing smoke while leaving the garage.

Firefighters say the car was destroyed and everything inside was un-salvageable.
