Overnight closure on Snoqualmie Pass Saturday night through Sunday morning

Posted: Updated:

HYAK, WA – Drivers should prepare for delays east of Snoqualmie Pass Saturday night into Sunday morning. Crews are closing I-90 eastbound, just east of Snoqualmie Pass from 10:00 p.m. Saturday, March 11th through 5:00 a.m., Sunday, March 12th. Eastbound traffic will be able to access the summit. Westbound traffic will be stopped east of the pass near the Stampede Pass interchange from 12:30 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 12th. Crews will reopen the lanes every two hours to clear out traffic.

In an effort to improve visibility and safety at night on I-90, crews are installing additional reflectors along barriers and installing LED lane markers where possible. Follow @SnoqualmiePass on Twitter and check the mountain passes web page for updates.
