Flooding continues in Benton County

Posted: Updated:

RICHLAND, WA.-- On Saturday, the intersection of Kingston Road and Hyde Road was flooded over to the point where water was running down both streets.

Because of the extreme amount of water, a portion of Hyde road is closed down until the water level recedes. However, with the warmer temperatures, and all the rain in the forecast, that might be a tough ask.

In the meantime, Richland officers are asking people not to drive over flooded roadways, especially if the water is fast moving, as it can be very dangerous.
