Suspect in custody after five hour long standoff

YAKIMA, WA - A man who threatened people with a knife is in custody after a five hour standoff with police.

Around 11 Monday morning, the suspect allegedly threatened two reporters and a city councilman. Then, he ran into a house on East Walnut Street and South 6th Street and refused to come out.

Police arrested him around 4:30 p.m.
