One person shot multiple times at Howard Amon Park

RICHLAND, WA - On July 4 at 7:52 p.m., officers responded for a shooting at Howard Amon Park.

The victim in the shooting has been identified as 24-year-old Sergio Rivera of Pasco. Sergio is currently still being treated for multiple gunshot wounds but is currently in serious but stable condition.

Richland detectives are continuing the active investigation and no further information will be released at this time. They are asking that anyone with information to please message them on Facebook or contact Richland PD.


RICHLAND, WA - One person was shot multiple times at Howard Amon Park on Wednesday night.

Just before 8 p.m., Richland police responded to shots fired at Howard Amon Park right off Lee Boulevard. Police say one person was shot multiple times and was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Richland Police Sergeant Drew Florence tells us this all started after a fight between two groups of people who knew each other. 

Right now, police are still investigating and talking to witnesses. Police closed Howard Amon Park for the rest of the evening because of the investigation.

As of right now, there is no update on the victim's condition. 

Richland Police are asking anyone with information to call them.
