YAKIMA, WA - For this week's Throwback Thursday, we headed back to the 1900's.

A vintage photo we got courtesy of the Yakima Valley Museum is of patrons inside the Alfalfa Saloon in Yakima.

The bar was located in the Lund Building in what was then downtown "North Yakima." The saloon is now home to Norm's of Yakima on North Front Street.

A mural recently completed on the Lund Building's exterior recreates the historic Alfalfa Saloon photo. It was painted by artist Sheila Grace Page.
