Operation Thank You & PNW Bush Packers golf tournament for military members

Posted: Updated:

PASCO: It's no doubt that the Tri-Cities is made up of many veterans, so today PNW Bush Packers hit the green in partnership with "Operation Thank You" to raise money for our troops overseas.

Operation Thank You is made up of veterans, parents, wives, children and family members of military members whose goal is to support and show respect to our troops.

All proceeds raised at today's golf tournament will help fund nearly 1,000 care packages.

One organizer of this event says, today 100 teams are playing in this tournament- which will help fund several packages.

"It costs about $50 dollars per care package. Our goal is to raise about $15,000 dollars today. I just can't appreciate our troops enough," said Chairman Bobby Bates. "I love them and to we care for them. We appreciate everything they do."

Bobby also says if you would like to push this forward they're still taking donations for the care packages. If you would like to participate in making the care packages you can find all that information below.
