WSP releases pictures of suspect vehicle in fatal hit-and-run

PASCO, WA - Washington State Patrol has released two pictures close to what they believe the suspect vehicle looks like in the fatal hit-and-run collision that happened early Sunday morning.

On Sunday, November 4, a vehicle vs. pedestrian fatality hit-and-run collision happened near the interchange of northbound SR 395 and the Argent exit, near I-182 in Pasco. WSP believes the collision happened between the times of 1:10 a.m. and 1:30 a.m., post-daylight saving time.

WSP detectives say the suspect vehicle, described as an unknown color Chevrolet Blazer between the years of 1998 and 2003, will have left front damage to the marker, with a running light. 11-4-18 ORIGINAL STORY:

PASCO, WA - A body was found along the highway Sunday and Washington State Patrol Troopers are now looking for the suspect.

WSP said it looks like 27-year-old Martin Perez Garcia of Pasco had been walking down the shoulder on ramp near Argent Road and SR 395 sometime between 2 a.m. and 11 a.m. when he was hit by a car. The car then took off, leaving behind a fog lamp and some black trim.

Early investigation done by Troopers shows that Perez Garcia was left there until he was discovered Sunday afternoon. 

The car is described as possibly a crossover vehicle or sedan. 

This is now considered a felony hit and run and Troopers are taking over the investigation.
