YAKIMA, WA – On Tuesday, November 6, Congressman Dan Newhouse (R-WA) released a statement after seeing the General Election results of his re-election campaign to the U.S. House of Representatives.

“Representing the people of Central Washington is the most rewarding job I have held," Newhouse said. "I am honored by tonight’s results and the confidence that the people of the 4th District have placed in me to continue working for them. I will always be an advocate for the families, farmers, and small businesses of Central Washington on the issues that lie ahead, whether it’s adequately funding the Hanford cleanup, protecting Social Security and Medicare, cutting taxes, fixing our broken immigration system, enhancing water storage, or taking away power from abusive Washington, D.C. bureaucrats.”

Newhouse is a third generation Yakima Valley farmer and businessman. He has represented Washington’s 4th Congressional District since 2015 and was just re-elected to serve a third two-year term.

Newhouse previously served eight years in the Washington State House of Representatives and four years as the Director of the Washington State Department of Agriculture.
