Open Enrollment Begins for Washington Health Plans

NBC RIGHT NOW- Washingtonians can expect to see some changes this year when enrolling for Washington Health Plans. Health plan enrollment is now only 6 weeks long, households have until December 15th to apply for coverage.

Families can choose from Kaiser Permanente and Ambetter. 

After you submit your application, you’ll find out if you qualify for a Qualified Health Plan, tax credits, or free coverage through Washington Apple Health. As a reminder, enrollment for Washington Apple Health (medicaid) is available all year long. 

Several locations across the Yakima Valley & the Tri Cities are extending hours to assist families with enrollment.

Yakima and Kittitas County residents are now encouraged to schedule an appointment to meet with a navigator or broker, a service absolutely free for families.
