YAKIMA, WA - Yakima Police (YPD) are investigating three armed robberies that happened on Wednesday, all within a span of four hours.

Police are still looking for the suspect or suspects behind the robberies, however they are saying all three robberies could be connected.

The first robbery happened around 7:30 p.m. at the Downtown Super Foods located on the corner of S. 3rd St. and E. Pine St.

This store is just down the block from the police department. YPD says this store was robbed at gunpoint just a few days ago on November 1st.

The second robbery happened after 9:30 p.m. at the Safeway fuel station on the corner of 5th Ave. and Lincoln Ave.

The third robbery happened just after 11 p.m. at the College Mart store on Nob Hill Blvd. and Pleasant Ave. Police say that store has also been robbed in the past.

Police released a surveillance photo of the suspect at the Safeway robbery. In the picture he is covered in all black clothing.

In all three robberies the gunman pointed a gun at the cashier and demanded money before escaping on foot.

Police say it's hard to describe the suspects because they were covered from head to toe just like in the picture released, but hey are saying a white male could be involved with one of the robberies.

Anyone with information regarding any of the robberies is urged to contact YPD at (509) 575-6200.
