KENNEWICK, Wash - You could call Glenn Fenster a man determined to beat epilepsy. That's why he's riding his bike from Seattle to Miami to help raise money to fight the disease. Fenster started his 3,840-mile journey Monday, May 1st in Seattle. Today he made his way through the Tri-Cities, stopping to talk to KNDU at the Columbia Center Mall.
Fenster's inspiration to fight the disease comes from his 12-year-old son Nyle, who's been epileptic since age 2. The two were playing tennis one day when Nyle suffered a seizure while serving. Glenn has a website where you can donate money to help find a cure for the disease, www.destinymaker.org.
