HANFORD, Wash.- An in-depth report in to trends at the Department of Energy's Hanford Nuclear Reservation reveals a candid portrait of the progress and challenges that exist at the site.

Roy Scheppens, manager of DOE's Office of River Protection, in a frank interview says that recent challenges have been difficult to weather, but that the department remains focused on meeting clean-up milestones and improving worker safety.
