ELLENSBURG, Wash. - In just two days Mexico's President Vicente Fox will be in Yakima and some believe Fox's visit is a way to advance his political party.
Michael Ervin teaches Latin American History at Central and believes Fox's visit will help promote his political party to the many Hispanics living in the Yakima Valley.
Presidential elections are going on in Mexico right now.
"As President Fox seeks more support among Mexican's in the United States, who are allowed to vote in Mexico's election, vote for the PAN candidate, the party of President Fox," Ervin said.
Ervin believes Fox's visit also means a lot to Washington State because the Latino community is the future and it needs to be recognized, he said.
