Flood Warning for Yakima County In Effect Until Tuesday Night
YAKIMA, Wa - The National Weather Service says a flood warning for the Naches River will continue until at least Tuesday night. This is video from the Nelson Bridge that connects Powerhouse Road to Highway 12. The water level is going down, but currents are still strong and there's debris clogging the river. The latest reading for the Naches River measured water levels at 17.5 feet. Flood stage is 17 feet. The river has gone down a little more than an inch since this morning and it crested at 17.9 feet on Saturday.
