Mexico's Fox: U.S., Mexico must work together to improve citizens' lives
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah - Mexican President Vicente Fox has kicked off his three-day, three-state U-S visit by stressing the need for greater cooperation between the two countries. Among the items on Fox's checkoff list are trade, energy and security. Conspicuous in its absence from that list was the hot-potato topic: illegal immigration.
But he did tell 500 business, civic and religious leaders in Salt Lake City today that his country and the U-S can improve the quality of life for citizens on both sides of the border by working together.
