Mexican President Meeting Business Leaders in Seattle
SEATTLE, Wash. - As the U.S. Senate acts on an immigration bill, Mexican President Vicente Fox is watching from Seattle.
In a speech last night he said the United States should have secure borders, a robust guest worker program and opportunity for undocumented migrants to earn citizenship.
The Senate bill includes a chance at citizenship. The House version deals only with enforcement. Fox began his visit to Washington yesterday in Yakima.
He has a busy day in Seattle. He's having breakfast with Governor Gregoire and business leaders, visiting a Hispanic community health clinic, and having a business lunch. Fox leaves this afternoon for California.
