YAKIMA, Wash.- Another attempted jail escape from the Yakima County Jail causes a major lock down.
Corrections staff say inmates got ahold a metal bar. They broke out a number of window's in two different cells on the forth floor around 11 o'clock on Friday night. Officers at the jail heard the noise and locked down the entire jail.
When the inmates saw the armed officers they quickly complied with the jail staff. The Yakima Sheriff's Office says the inmates only caused minor damage, and did not come close to escaping.
