Gas Prices hurting RV Parks

KENNEWICK, Wash. - With gas topping three dollars a gallon fuel costs are hitting RV travelers hard this weekend.

Owners of R-V Village Resort in West Richland said fuel costs are putting a dent in business by 15 to 20 percent.

The park gets a lot of people spending the warmer months in the Tri-Cities.

Arizona resident, Richard Kellys aid it costs 300 dollars to fill his entire RV tank.  "It's costs a hundred to a hundred and thirty five dollars for a quarter of a tank or whatever we've used it, it demands on how much we drive it. It's not quite as bad as filling it from an empty stage... That's a shocker."

The average price for a gallon of regular gas in washington state is $3.17.
